According to the information from the Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses in Xian, the Terra Cotta Pit 2 will be closed for repair from November 1st,2007. The Terra Cotta Pit 2 was completed in 1990 and was opened to the public in 1994. Since 2001, the roof of its exhibition hall began to leak when it rains. The museum will start to repair the roof from next month, after the relics are moved to other exhibition halls. Meanwhile, Pit 2 will be backfilled and tightly covered to protect the relics not unearthed.
