bedeliavelez: Vacation Travel Cruise

bedeliavelez: Hey there. Has anyone been on any cruises before? Me and my friends and family hadn't been one until very recently, just a month or two earlier? We went on a cruise off the coast of Puerto Rico, and the boat stopped there for a few little excursions during the time we were passing, it was very fun, all very new, very different atmosphere than what I'm used to up in Europe. We were considering future caribe cruceros so that a friend who got left out could come along next year. So we're on the look out for any good offers or bargains on the next one, any ofertas crucero as you might say in Puerto Rico. One of the main reasons we want to get this particular friend to come with us next year is that it's around that time that he's getting married, so once on the boat we want to give him one heck of a Despedida de soltero, that is, a heck of a stag party! What do folks here think of cruises, or of the Caribbean? Overpriced, over-rated, or excellent?

bedeliavelez: To experience the atmosphere of Spain

bedeliavelez: Hello!! everyone! Anyone live in Tenerife? We moved out here a little while back after visiting once a year ´cause we absolutely love the place, couldn't seem to get enough of it. I'm really excited about Siam Water Park; I really want to go sometime soon. The weather in Tenerife is absolutely gorgeous, sunny really often, but you get that nice coastal breeze to help cool you off, makes it much more enjoyable than just roasting all day (although I'd take roasting to a crisp to freezing!). I'd probably get tired really fast without that breeze to cool me off, I guess I should go for a run next to the coast more often, improve my stamina. I can´t think of much wrong except for our poor little doggy, I think we might need to shear some of his fur off, he pants all day and has slowed down quite a bit since we moved, I think the heat is too much for him in all that fur. He misbehaves a bit, too, I think, as the Spanish say, we need to get him a bit of Adiestramiento from somewhere. What do you guys think of Tenerife? Some people are a bit sceptical of how nice it is, I think, maybe the touristy areas chase people off a bit.

maxinecbq: expoloring and having fun with Maxine

Nikimathew: Born in San Francisco's Chinatown, Maxine grew up in a largely immigrant neighborhood. Most of the residents barely spoke English and in those days the children served as interpreters for parents and neighbors. For most of these families, home consisted of a room or two in a multi-story building with shared kitchen and bathing facilities.Neighbors helped each other to find work and housing. From her childhood, Maxine learned the values that continue to shape her life.In time she discovered that many people that she met would touch her life with their individual knowledge and qualities, whatever their cultural or racial backgrounds.

bedeliavelez: Travel and Studies in Europe

bedeliavelez: Hello everyone, I´m in Spain, trying to study to brush up on la traduccion textos tecnicos since that is what I´m finding most difficult. I think my best strength is in speaking English, I need to work on my grammar and maybe practice translation and interpreting correctly, as they are very specialized in each language, don´t you think? I was considering maybe going to una academia de ingles en Sevilla since that is not too far from my province and I would like to become as perfect as possible in my chosen language to learn. English is such a good language to learn, they speak it almost everywhere these days, but I want to be very very good at it. My ambition is to get an MBA executive Madrid in the city, so I can work for a big business as a multi-lingual worker, but I think I should focus on mastering my English before I start doing that. The most spoken languages in the world are English, Spanish and Chinese, but I think I made the best choice in picking English, Chinese must be getting popular now as the country is growing so much, but it can´t be better to have than English, right? Maybe I am wrong, has anyone had any experience looking for jobs using their languages as a how you say…"selling point?"

bedeliavelez: My studies in Germany

bedeliavelez: Hey, I just came back from my Sprachreisen-Trip and it was really fun and every penny spent was worth it. Just to tell my little story, this year I have been in Germany to take a so called “german course germany”. You learn a language by living and studying in the foreign country. This way I also got to know my boyfriend and many other friends I never will forget. With this kind of experience you are able to make a language vivid because you learn it by living and not only by reading books or repeating vocabulary.

For me it was fun to see how my language skills developed over the month. I also had this little tradition for myself, where I choose my own word of the month, new words you learn and repeat really often every day. Just use the language course or the “Sprachkurse im ausland” to get the theoretical part of your studies and train your speaking skill by enjoying a different culture and getting to know new people. Just take the chance! For myself, I am still looking for a new adventure and good suggestions for traveling, so I am always open for new advices or tips.
