Dragon & Pearl Pavilion

The Dragon and Pearl Pavilion is located on the top of the Pearl Mountain in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province.

The Pearl Mountain is the symbol of porcelain capital Jindezhen since ancient time. Built on the top of the Pearl Mountain, the Dragon and Pearl Pavilion is the representative construction of porcelain factory that imperial family used in Ming and Qing Dynasty from Zhu Yuanzhang founded capital.

In recent one thousand years, it changed into the representative construction of Jingdezhen. The Dragon and Pearl Pavilion was built in Jiaqin Year of Ming Dynasty, due to wars, it was destroyed for several times. Till Ming Dynasty, after rebuilt and repaired for several times, it just becomes today's magnificent construction scope.

Thousands of blue and white glaze vases, huge dragon jars of Ming Dynasty and porcelain treasures unearthed in Ming Dynasty and etc. are displayed in today's Dragon and Pearl Pavilion. According to the research of experts, there are countless precious cultural relics hidden under the ground around the Dragon and Pearl Pavilion.
